The Kenniscentrum voor Bèta Techniek and the ROC Rijn-IJssel in Arnhem are famous for its innovativeness in training and schooling future well-skilled craftsmen in different areas. Hence, we from ECo-C Europe were more than glad to get the chance to visit the school in the run of our trip to the Netherlands and get a profound overview about all the projects that are going on and the innovative methods which are part of the training and schooling process.
And: The Kenniscentrum voor Bèta Techniek is inspiring and a best practice model in terms of the ability to identify changing job profiles and to adopt curricula to the permanently changing environment and trends.
Today hard skills are not enough any more. Communication skills in all its varieties make the difference. The Kenniscentrum voor Bèta Techniek in Arnhem is aware of this fact and likes to implement the ECo-C certification programme in their curriculum.
The first pilot project will start in September 2014. The ECo-C team is looking forward to this fruitful cooperation.
ECo-C Europe also likes to take the opportunity to say a big thank you to Roel Bindels and Emiel Brok for their enthusiasm as well as for organising and setting up not only this inspiring visit to the Kenniscentrum voor Bèta Techniek and the ROC Rijn-IJssel, but a whole fantastic ECo-C promotional tour through the Netherlands. Within two days commercial (ICT) training institutes, schools (MBOs and Universities of Applied Science), communication and IT skills trainers as well as HR-managers of end customers were visited.
